Hey FRIEND -

My early 20s were a tough time for me, financially speaking. I left college with more than $30,000 in student loans and I had a job where I was only earning $12/hour. Needless to say, there were a lot of things that I put on the back burner. I went years without going to the dentist, fixing my car that overheated at every stop light, or buying healthy food (I ate $5 Little Caesar's pizza on a near daily basis).

Things have gotten a little easier in recent years, but our featured article today had me reminiscing. One of our readers just shared an awesome hack that she used at the dentist to save money. She saved $94 on her cleaning this month, but apparently you can use this trick for other dental work as well. It certainly left a smile on my face. Let me know what you think...
