Hey, Jon here.
Over the last few months, you might’ve noticed I’ve been a little quiet.
Sure, you’ve gotten the occasional email from me about a new post or promo. The regular stuff.
But nothing special.
No new posts. No new videos. No emails with a fresh story or insight.
It’s just been business as usual. Or at least, that’s how it looked.
Behind the scenes though, I’ve been working like a madman. Chugging caffeine, working late into the night, I’ve poured my heart and soul into maybe the most important project of my life.
And no, it’s NOT another product for you to buy. :-)
It’s actually a new blog.
Or more accurately, a new mission.
I don’t know how much you know about my story, but I was born with a form of muscular dystrophy. I’m basically unable to move anything but my face, operating my computer through a combination of speech recognition software and a mouse I control with my lips.
And yet… I’ve lived an amazing life.
Sitting in my wheelchair, wiggling my lips around, I’ve built several of the world’s biggest blogs, making me a millionaire in the process. I’ve also traveled the world, living on both coasts of the US, as well as spent time in Mexico, Israel, Switzerland, and Canada.
It shouldn’t be possible. According to every doctor I’ve ever consulted, I should be dead a hundred times over.
But I’m not. Quite the opposite, actually. I’ve built a life most people only dream about.
The question is… how? Was it dumb luck? Or something more?
There’s no doubt in my mind that I’ve been lucky. To be born in a country like the United States, to have two wonderful parents, to have access to computers since I was a child – take away any of those things, and I would be long gone.
But I don’t think it’s the entire story.
Look around, and you’ll find there are some people who just seem to thrive in difficult circumstances, and I’m not just talking about superhuman characters like Nelson Mandela or Helen Keller. If you think about it, I imagine you know at least one or two people who seem to possess a magical combination of toughness, smarts, and sheer stubbornness that enables them to survive damn near anything.
You probably assumed they were born with it. Most people seem to believe that.
But what if I told you it could be learned?
What if I offered to teach you?
What if I created a new site dedicated to helping you overcome anything life throws at you, slowly but surely building a better life for yourself?
Because it’s possible. It really is.
And starting tomorrow, I’m going to prove it to everyone.
If you want to join me, watch your inbox.
This is gonna be big.
Jon
PS: In case you were wondering, I’m still totally committed to Smart Blogger.
At this point, the new blog is just a side project. A tantalizing, beautiful, potentially world-changing side project. :-)
If it becomes more than that, I’m sure I’ll write about it. In the meantime, rest assured that I’m just as committed to your blogging success as ever before.
You couldn’t get rid of me if you tried. ;-)
