My response to an upset reader...

A couple years ago a reader wrote me an angry email essentially saying I had no business helping people get out of debt because I was financially secure and just "didn't get it". What she failed to realize is that learning from someone who has gone where you want to go is far more valuable than asking someone for advice who is stuck in the same hole you are in. Additionally, I have had my fair share of financial challenges that I have gone through and I actually could relate to her situation quite well.
