How To Comfort & Help Those Going Through A Natural Disaster

Friend,

Having grown up in a church that was flooded with 10 feet of water in the flood of '93, it breaks my heart to see what is happening in Texas and Lousiana right now.

Our friends in the south need our prayers.

I had the privilege to help with flood cleanup after Katrina years ago, and if you have never seen first-hand the devastation that a flood can create, you would probably be blown away.

If you have the means to help financially, there are tons of great organizations racing down there to help, but we have chosen to support Eight Days of Hope - a great disaster relief organization with a mission that resonated with me.

If you are looking for a way to give to help our friends down south, I recommend checking them out - and most importantly spend some time praying for the leaders, citizens, and organizations helping down there.


How we can comfort and help those going through it

A few years ago, in the aftermath of Sandy, we wrote this article which I think is particularly relevant and helpful at this moment.
